Physiotherapy provides treatment for general body aches and pains which occur as a result of disorders in the muscle and skeletal systems.
Physiotherapy identifies the source of your problem and treats it via a variety of methods, such as spinal mobilisation and manipulation, muscle strengthening or retraining, electrotherapy, massage, retraining of work or sports specific tasks, home exercises, and much more.
Initial Assessment $70: Includes assessment of your condition, diagnosis, development of your treatment plan, & initial treatment.
Follow-up consultations $55: Ongoing treatment.
We use the regular structure of charging for either an initial or follow up appointment. The time slot for your appointment is for the assessment and treatment of ONE condition only. This is due to the in-depth muscle and joint assessment we must perform to treat your condition quickly and effectively. If you have two areas requiring treatment you may need to book in for a longer appointment.
Our fees are primarily determined by the cost of paying our physios for their professional services, other staff costs including receptionist, specialised physiotherapy equipment we have purchased, and general overheads. You will find they are comparable to other physiotherapists in the area.
Special rates are given to members of MBF and Medibank Private because of provider agreements we have signed with these health funds. This means you pay LESS out of pocket expense for each visit AND may also pay a lower consultation fee.
10% pensioner discount for those over 65 and not in a health fund.
Payment is required at the time of consultation, normally on arrival. We provide direct processing of your private health claim on the spot via HICAPS. This means you only pay the gap amount for your treatment, and the health fund pays the remainder directly to us.
EFTPOS facilities are available.

Please arrive a few minutes early for your initial appointment. Your first treatment includes an extended examination, treatment, and discussion with you about your condition and ongoing treatment required.
The follow up appointments are shorter as your condition has been diagnosed. Your physio will always spend at least 15 minutes one to one with you during your treatment.
Late for appointments: Please note that if you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment you may not be able to be seen. This is so other clients who are on time will not be kept waiting.
We require 8 hours notice if you cancel an appointment, otherwise a cancellation fee of $10 will apply. Your consideration with this also helps us to plan our staffing levels and avoid turning other clients away
We accept payment from Workcover, Veterans Affairs, and Medicare. For each of these you need to have a doctor's referral. Medicare only covers those with complex conditions or chronic conditions who are on a primary care plan with their doctor. If you are seeking payment through an insurance company we need to liase directly with the insurance company (not your solicitor) before we commence treatment.
